Primary and sub e-mail accounts Back to Using CURRENT Broadband® e-mail

When you sign-up for CURRENT Broadband® service, you will select a primary username and password. With your primary account username and password, you can activate service on any Internet-ready device. Once you have activated service, you can browse the web, send and receive e-mail and use some of the tools available in My Account.

Your new e-mail address is the primary account username you selected when you signed up followed by @current.net. For example, if you selected the username jsmith, your e-mail address will be jsmith@current.net.

Each primary account can create up to 4 sub-accounts. The sub-account username and password will allow a sub-account user to reset his / her password, as necessary, using the Client Control Panel.

The e-mail address for each sub-account is the sub-account username you created followed by @current.net. For example, if you created a sub-account username of jsmith3, the e-mail address for that sub-account will be jsmith3@current.net.
